The primary function of Olsen's Agricultural Laboratory since its beginning in 1976 has been to provide quality analytical services to the agricultural community.

Since then the laboratory has developed its own Internet Client Software for ease and speed of data delivery. Programming is on going to continue to improve modes of delivery of results to our clients.

The area served by Olsen's Laboratory is nationwide, with some clients also in Canada, Mexico and Central America. Services include analysis of soil, plant tissue, feed, fertilizer, water, manure and seed germination, as well as wastewater samples from municipalities, and heavy metals.

Our laboratory maintains certification for the analysis of Coliform Bacteria in public drinking water, Coliform Bacteria and nitrate-N in private water; RFV/RFQ of hay, and manure nutrient quality. Our laboratory also participates in NAPT, AAFCO, MAP, Magruder and AFPC quality control check sample programs.
